Land Cruiser Dreams
This new arrival from Denver, Colorado, spent most of its driving days near Albuquerque, New Mexico. Little is known about its history, but it had good bones to work with. The body and chassis were in good condition, so its new owner selected it to build the stuff of dreams. Apart from the classic good looks of one of the most sought after bodies in the Land Cruiser line up, under the hood of this particular build, you’ll find a new Toyota 1GR-FE engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
About the FJ45LV
This spacious family-friendly 4x4 is one of the most sought-after classic Land Cruisers. Its unique body, featuring a large rear overhang and corrugated side panels, was created by Gifu Body Co. Ltd., a coachbuilder once associated with Toyota. The FJ45LV has plenty of character, lots of space, and is extremely rare. Of the 5,080 produced between 1963 and 1967, only about 1,000 made it to the U.S.
